Ekaterina Ermilkina grew up in the beautiful city of Yalta in Crimea on the North coast of the Black Sea, where in 1985 she enrolled as a student in the School of Art of F.Vasiliev, graduating in 1991.
In 2005, Ermilkina moved to New Jersey, where she now lives and works. Ekaterina Ermilkina’s original abstract fine art paintings are created using a skilful combination of applying and removing oil paint with a palette knife on canvas. Her latest paintings are inspired by the scenic views of New York City. Her artworks reflect her emotions and the energy of a big and colorful city which is always busy and never sleeps.
