Tanja Binder was born in 1978 in Schlieren ZH. After the preliminary course at the School of Design Zurich, she continued her education in visual design at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). Today she lives and works as a freelance artist in Zurich.
She mainly works with oil on canvas. Painting is a mean of expression for her to rerflect observations of everyday life, moods and feelings. She is inspired by the play of colours and forms, the interplay of light and the constantly changing.
